Objective

It has been determined that over 70 per cent of all electrical problems in industrial, commercial and institutional power systems an due to power grounding and wiring errors. Without proper grounding, sensitive electrical equipment is subjected to destruction of data, erratic equipment operation and catastrophic damage. This electrical grounding workshop will give participants a comprehensive understanding of practical applications or proper grounding and wiring practices. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Focus on specific electrical grounding problems and consequences relating to fires, safety of personnel and damage of equipment
  • Testing procedures for residential, industrial, commercial and institutional electrical power grounding systems
  • Specific grounding problems, installations and code requirements
