Evaluating the condition of an existing structure – a building, a dam, a bridge – is a vitally important exercise carried out by those in the engineering profession. But there is no \u2018one-size-fits-all\u2019 approach for such a task. State-of-the-art information on visual inspections, destructive and nondestructive testing (NDT), and the hands-on experience provided in this workshop, are essential for those involved in evaluating concrete, masonry, wood, and metal structures.
